Living in a new neighborhood

When I wake up the sun feeds my soul through the living room window. It's actually my first week here since I moved in and the house feels empty, I mean you can still hear your own voice back if you say anything out loud.

I am experiencing living in a new neighborhood that is centrally located near almost everything. Here it is known as a multicultural neighborhood that has a Korean and Bolivian immigration and a lot of delicious food, such as Greek, Arabic, and other parts of the world. Also, we have bars with many owners and workers from the northeast of Brazil.

From seamstresses to new clothes, you can see many clothing stores open during weeks. Although on weekends the comercial area in the neighborhood is insanely quiet because all these stores are closed. However, the most important street is still very much alive, Rua dos Três Rios. This place is considered the heart of the neighborhood and there you will find a lot of culture such as Casa do Povo, Oswald Andrade Cultural Center and gastronomy as I already mentioned.

Despite being a newbie and the monthly rent I am excited to make this place my home and continue to enjoy the sun in my living room. Finally, as I'm close to the subway station, it's just an excuse to go out and explore the São Paulo city that, despite not being raised, I was born.
