The random of life

Random things really happen. Like they say "at the right place doing the right things" . For example, I've done things I never would have thought of, like going to television and having my own videocast. I've been involved with media for 3 years now. I created my own podcast called "Samambaya Podcast". Also, I published in the mainstream press especially about my experience as a black lawyer in Brazil, which opens doors for me to connect with people abroad. Besides, I have been invited to Brazilian TV shows and radio to share legal knowledge and the struggle of black people.
I swear to God I've never pretended to be famous for anything and lose my own private life, but being out there and talking about things that really matter has been such a pleasure.
These things make me think about potentiality, but none of this would happen if it weren't for the random of life.
I certainly believe that because figuring out a new career like that wasn't any boring, in fact it was the opposite. I would never believe that work with media would make me rethink a new career for real, I thought I was having fun and that's what they say: "When you do it for fun you don't really realize you're working."
I can not lie that in my own career as a lawyer I've faced so many difficulties in terms of finding clients, working in an area that I really love because since 2018 I've been home officing on my laptop looking at the wall. These things make you feel the inconstancy of life especially in terms of financial stability.
Currently I consider myself grateful because I am facing a new challenge that started very randomly. I was living in the Ubatuba seaside at the Tropicos Capricórnio hostel when a girl heard that I was talking on the phone in English so she asked me if I was an English teacher. I was a little shocked, but considering that in Brazil only 1% of people are fluent, I get it!
She seemed so consistent in making a deal that I couldn't say no. We started next week and since then I have never stopped teaching.
I can't complain about that random part of life, because just like other situations, they make me grow, learn and become more curious about things to teach even better. I would say this has been an incredible journey.
For all these reasons, I am very grateful for the randomness of life that gives me the energy to keep getting involved in news projects that I'd never planned to be on.
